Beginning with songs written in my bedroom and expanding to become an all-femme indie/rock band, EmmaLee & The Dream is my life story in songs. Journal entries turned into tunes, this music combines storytelling-forward lyrics and danceable grooves. Inspired by Olivia Rodrigo, Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, Wet Leg, and more.
Our first single, "gravity" is out now!
Inspired by a piece by Leah Plante-Weiner, "Gravity" is about the (sometimes unfortunate) magnetism of men. Perfect for angsty days and screaming with the car windows down.
