About Me

Born in Texas and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, I am a lifelong storyteller.  I attended the prestigious Youth Performing Arts School and then moved to New York City at 17 to pursue a degree in musical theatre at Pace University, where I fostered a love of directing, writing, and choreography. Since then, I have performed off-Broadway, toured the country with Baby Shark Live, and have grown a career as a musical theatre writer and singer/songwriter, and arts administrator. 

I am now working with non-profit theatre company Live & In Color as the Institutional Advancement Manager and I am the co-founder of Butterfly Effect Productions LLC, where I work with my incredible writing partner, Maria Andreoli, to develop new original musical theatre. I recently began my journey as a MTF Maker - an 18 month residency to develop new musical theatre works. I started the band EmmaLee & The Dream, and I am currently recording my debut album. I spend my free time reading, playing The Sims, and getting lost in the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
